    More than 180 years ago, in 1835, Pratt & Smith were the last men executed in the UK for sodomy. Although the UK has made considerable progress on LGBT and human rights, in many other countries being gay is still a criminal offence. Father Frank Ryan who has done an enormous amount of research regarding this event.
